Kathleen Bennett, DDS
Kathleen's motto is: "Life is to be enjoyed and appreciated every day."
Kathleen graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in genetic engineering, originally hoping to be a forensic investigator. But once she was exposed to dentistry, she knew that she had found her niche. In 1993, she graduated with honors from the UCLA School of Dentistry and then attended a one-year residency at the Long Beach VA Hospital to gain additional training.
At the beginning of her career, Kathleen taught in the fixed prosthedontics department at UCLA. She has been working in private practice for thirteen years, eleven of which have been with Daniel Smith. Kathleen truly loves everything about family practice, as she enjoys seeing both kids and adults.
Outside of her work, Kathleen's passion is her family. She met her husband when she was eighteen years old at UCSB. Kathleen, her husband, and their daughters, Sydney and Kailey, love being in the great outdoors: they camp, hike, swim, ride horse, and enjoy all sports. They share their home with two beloved pets, a 25-pound cat and a more petite French bulldog.
